Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the TechMag website and services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by TechMag ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

Definitions

  • "Content" refers to text, images, videos, audio, graphics, and other material that may be viewed on, accessed through, or contributed to the Service.
  • "User Content" refers to Content that users contribute to the Service.
  • "TechMag Content" refers to Content that we provide on the Service, including Content licensed from third parties.
  • "Intellectual Property Rights" means all rights in patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and other proprietary rights.

Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

Subscriptions

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis, depending on the type of subscription plan you select.

At the end of each period, your subscription will automatically renew under the same conditions unless you cancel it or we cancel it.

You may cancel your subscription either through your online account management page or by contacting our customer support team.

Content

Our Content

The Service and its original Content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of TechMag and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Canada and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of TechMag.

User Content

By posting, uploading, or otherwise making available any Content on our Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, and display the Content in connection with the operation of the Service.

You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights in and to the Content you post, and that such Content does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.

Prohibited Uses

You may use our Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service:

  • To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm TechMag or users of the Service or expose them to liability.

Additionally, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the site or interfere with any other party's use of the Service.
  • Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access the Service for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on the Service.
  • Use any manual process to monitor or copy any of the material on the Service or for any other unauthorized purpose without our prior written consent.
  • Use any device, software, or routine that interferes with the proper working of the Service.
  • Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Service, the server on which the Service is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Service.
  • Attack the Service via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack.
  • Otherwise attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Service.

TechMag has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that TechMag shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall TechMag, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
  • Any content obtained from the Service; and
  • Unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
